We are asking Lisa Madigan to order evidentiary hearings for victims of police torture. All Madigan has to do is sign off on new hearings–the stroke of a pen. There has already been a Cook County resolution urging her to do it–now she needs to hear it from you–enough is enough. There are dozens of men still in prison who “confessed” to crimes after they were electro-shocked, suffocated and beaten by Chicago police.
